Dear Annie

Just a line to let you know that I am well hoping this will find you all the same at home. We are well into Germany now we came another 20 miles today so I am only sending short letter I got soaked through with rain it is a beast of a day and I dont think very much of the country or the people in it but would not have missed it for anything I dont think we will go any further now unless we get a trip to Berlin but I have my doubts.

I have had no letters from you yet but expecting one any day now they will have a job finding me now I have been travelling around so much lately. We have got over Xmas all right it was the quietest I ever had just one glass of Scotch

I suppose you will be having very cold weather in the Peg now I am glad I am not there at present but looking forward to being there in the near future quite a lot have gone back to Canada now. I will now close wishing you all a Very Happy New Year

write soon

your Loving Hubbie

Jim
