Submitted by Lorine: I found this letter during my research at the Ontario Archives. This is part of my Peer family in Ontario who came from New Jersey in June 1796 to settle near Hamilton. John Peer arrived in Upper Canada (present day Ontario) in 1788.
Interested researchers can read more about the Peer Family on my Olive Tree Genealogy website.
