Dear Annie
just a little note to let you know that I got your letter and parcel yesterday which was very much welcome.
Well Annie I have had the flu for a week now and just getting over it now I am all of a shake I have not ate anything for 6 days except 4 eggs but will make up for it later on.
We leave here on the 18th 3 days time for down the line I dont know where we are going to yet some camp I expect any how things are looking good for Canada for Apr all the men who got married over here left for England this morning to get their wives back with them I will close now as this is just agony writing tell amy and Walter that I was asking kindly for them
